WHAT DO YOU FEEL WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS PAINTING?? 
When I painted this one, I knew of an old man who was my neighbor. He lived with his daughter ( his Wife died long ago he would say)..his daughter had a day job and would be at work till late evening...he would just walk into my home and come and say hello every single day.... 7 days a week without fail....drink a glass of water... just look at my kids for a while( they were infants at the time) and silently leave.... this happened for almost 5 years.
One day in the morning I had this uneasy and a heavy feeling that something is gone....and surely enough, I found out that he had passed away that morning.... Everyday that I would meet him I would get the feeling that he is just waiting.... I don’t know for what but just waiting....
Maybe to meet his wife again....
Maybe for his daughter to return home....
I’m hoping he’s happy wherever he is.
